How to register

Online registrations and hotel reservations are strongly recommended. Applications can be submitted also through the PDF registration form that should be sent to the Organizing Secretariat OIC by e-mail, or by fax (+39 055 5035230), together with the copy of the payment. Pre-registration will be accepted until 15 May 2017. After this date only on-site registrations will be possible.

Registration fees

Advance registrations are preferred in order to facilitate planning of the scientific sessions and social events of the congress. On site registration is strongly discouraged and availability for social events could not be guaranteed.

Registration fees are in Euro (VAT included).

* The reduced fee will be applied only to members with regular membership payments.

Registration is mandatory for participation in the scientific sessions and for oral or poster presenters.

Congress registration fee includes:

  • Access to all scientific sessions
  • Access to the exhibition area
  • Congress kit and name badge
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Abstracts (digital)
  • Welcome Reception on 28 May 2017

Hotel accommodation

Hotel accommodation can be reserved at reduced rates at The Nicolaus Hotel (Conference Venue) in Bari through the Organizing Secretariat OIC.
The indicated room/night rates and availabilities are only applicable for reservations made through the Organizing Secretariat OIC and received by 20 April 2017 at the latest.

The indicated rates are per room per night. Breakfast, taxes and service.

Rooms will be allocated on a first come - first served basis.
After the indicated deadline accommodation cannot be guaranteed although OIC will make every effort to meet the participants’ requests upon availability. In order to avoid disappointment, early bookings are recommended. No telephone reservation will be accepted.

Terms of payment

Please note that your registration and/or hotel reservation cannot be processed without payment. Please submit your payment information together with the completed registration form. You may pay by credit card or bank transfer (see details below). We strongly encourage on-line registration (credit card payment only).

You can choose from the following payment methods:

Bank transfers must not involve charges for the recipient.
The participant’s and sender’s names must be clearly indicated on the transfer order as well as the payment purposes. The copy of the payment advice must be sent together with the registration form.

ATTENTION: Registrations can be considered valid only after having received the payment. Forms without proof of payment will not be processed.

Cancellations and refunds

Any change or cancellation must be sent in writing to O.I.C. s.r.l. within 20 April 2017 (Fax +39 055 5035230, E-mail


For cancellations received until 20 April 2017 the paid fee will be refunded with a deduction of 70% as penalty charge.
No refund will be made for cancellations received after 20 April 2017.

Hotel accommodations

For individual hotel reservations the paid amounts will be refunded as follows:

  • Until February 10, 2017: only € 25,00 will be withheld for administrative charge only
  • Until March 20, 2017: the paid deposit will be withheld as penalty charge
  • Until April 20, 2017: the paid balance will be refunded with a deduction of 70% as penalty charge
  • After April 20, 2017: no refund will be made for cancellations or last minute changes
  • No-shows and early departures: 100% of the foreseen total amount will be withheld as penalty charge.

Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement can be made. All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.

The above cancellation policy applies to individual bookings only. For group reservations a different policy will be applied and will be stated in the room reservation contract.
